Application & Mixing Guidelines

Lime Paints & Putties

Add up to 10% pigment dispersion by weight. This is the maximum amount that lime-based materials can absorb without affecting surface integrity. Stir thoroughly to ensure a smooth and even tone throughout the material. Overuse may result in chalking, so always test small amounts first.

Venetian Plaster (e.g., Marmorino, Stucco Lucido)

Incorporate the pigment dispersion into the wet plaster gradually, blending until the desired shade is achieved. Mix gently yet thoroughly to avoid introducing air bubbles. Always conduct a test patch to observe the final colour once dry, as tones may shift slightly during the curing process.

Wax Polishes

Our pigment dispersions can be used to tint natural wax finishes, creating softly coloured, protective layers. Add sparingly and mix well to achieve even colour distribution. Apply in thin coats, polishing between layers for a rich, nuanced sheen.
