LanoBlack & LanoClear — Lanolin Motor Grease & Rust Inhibitor (2.5 Litre)
LanoBlack & LanoClear are concentrated lanolin-based rust inhibitors designed for heavily rusted parts and exposed metal on marine and automotive vehicles. They form a clear or black, tenacious, self-healing protective film that seals out moisture, salt and corrosive agents.
Spot or spray treatment: ideal for seized nuts, springs, levers, slideways and hardware.
Tenacious adhesion: lanolin seals metal surfaces and keeps moisture out.
Self-healing protection: guards against stone chips and wear damage.
Corrosion resistance: effective against water, salts, acids and alkalis when used correctly.
Finish options: LanoBlack for cosmetic black underbody areas, LanoClear for transparent, MOT-friendly inspection zones.
Application guidance: brush or spray onto areas after scraping or wire-brushing to remove loose rust and debris. Apply a thin, even coat and reapply in high-exposure areas as required.
Typical uses: underbody chassis, wheel arches, box sections, battery compartments, chains, fasteners, farm machinery, off-road 4×4, trikes, boats, trawlers and general vehicle maintenance.
Storage & handling
Store above 20 °C. If thickened by cold weather, stand sealed container in warm water until fluid. Indefinite shelf life when sealed.
