Ultrasonic PCB Cleaning Fluid – Flux Removal Solution for Circuit Boards & Electronics
This professional ultrasonic cleaning fluid is formulated for the effective removal of flux residues, contaminants and processing residues from printed circuit boards (PCBs) and electronic assemblies. Designed for use in ultrasonic cleaning baths, it provides controlled, residue-free cleaning when used correctly.
Primary Applications
Flux residue removal after soldering
Cleaning PCBs and electronic assemblies
Maintenance and rework preparation
Electronics repair, laboratory and workshop use
Compatibility
Suitable for printed circuit boards (PCBs)
Compatible with SMD, BGA and fine-pitch components
Safe for solder mask, silkscreen and most connector plastics
Always test on an inconspicuous area or sample board before full production use.
Ultrasonic Cleaning Instructions (Recommended Process)
Dilute the cleaning fluid with deionised water up to 1:8 depending on contamination level.
Fill ultrasonic bath and pre-heat to 30°C – 50°C.
Submerge PCB assemblies ensuring full coverage.
Run ultrasonic cycle for 3–10 minutes depending on residue severity.
Remove boards immediately after the cycle completes.
IMPORTANT – Post Cleaning Rinse & Drying (Critical Step)
Immediately after ultrasonic cleaning:
Rinse thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol (IPA) to displace water and dissolved residues.
Dry using clean, oil-free compressed air.
This step is essential to prevent mineralisation, residue formation and corrosion on electrical connections.
Failure to perform IPA rinsing and proper drying may result in mineral deposits or long-term reliability issues.
Expected Results
Removal of flux and processing residues
Clean solder joints and component surfaces
No visible residue when correctly rinsed and dried
