Product Overview
This kit combines two professional-grade products to convert, prime and protect caravan chassis and underbodies from rust and corrosion.

2.5 L LanoBlack Motor Grease (black) with spray attachment
2 L Oxilixo Rust Converter Primer
Key Benefits
LanoBlack lanolin formula adheres tenaciously to metal surfaces, sealing out moisture and corrosive agents such as acids, alkalis and salts.
Oxilixo water-based primer chemically converts existing rust into a stable iron complex and leaves a semi‑gloss black/grey primer ready for paint or to be left as-is.
Ideal for steel, aluminum, copper and more—no need for full sandblasting; loose rust is removed, but tightly adhered rust may remain.
Fast drying: Oxilixo recoatable in 1–3 hours and fully cured in 12–24 hours; LanoBlack remains flexible and self-healing.
Marine‑grade performance: withstands high humidity (up to 95%) and operating temperatures from 1 °C to 40 °C.
All‑natural, non‑toxic lanolin base with indefinite shelf life when stored correctly.

Application Instructions
Surface Preparation
a. Remove loose rust, scale, oil and contaminants (SSPC‑SP3).
b. Rinse with fresh water; allow tightly adhered brown rust to remain.
Oxilixo Rust Conversion
a. No stirring required; ready-to-use.
b. Spray (airless tip 0.016–0.018″, 60° fan, 3.0–3.5 kp) or brush/roller for small areas and welds.
c. Apply wet film of 3–4 mils (dry 1.5–2 mils).
d. Allow 1–3 hours to dry before overcoating or sealing.
LanoBlack Grease Treatment
a. If product is too thick, stand container in warm water (> 20 °C) until soft.
b. Brush or spray onto primed surfaces, chassis rails, wheel arches and suspension parts.
c. Reapply in high‑exposure areas for maximum protection.
Optional Topcoat
Oxilixo can be overcoated with epoxy, acrylic, alkyd, vinyl or polyurethane systems after full cure.
LanoBlack provides a finished black underbody look; no additional topcoat needed for rust protection.
Storage and Shipping
LanoBlack: store above 20 °C; indefinite shelf life.
Oxilixo: store 10–25 °C, out of direct light.

Q: Can this kit be used on non-caravan vehicles?
A: Yes. While designed for caravan and motorhome chassis, the kit is also suitable for trailers, 4×4 vehicles, off-road and farm vehicles, suspension components, drawbars, and marine structures where rust protection is required.
Q: Does Oxilixo require sanding before use?

A: Oxilixo is intended for use on rusted ferrous metals. Galvanized surfaces should be clean and free from oxidation for best results. Always test on a small, inconspicuous area if unsure.
Q: Can the Oxilixo primer be top-coated with paint?
A: Yes. Once fully cured, Oxilixo can be overcoated with epoxy, acrylic, alkyd, vinyl, or polyurethane paint systems. It can also be left as-is as a protective primer if no topcoat is required.
Q: Do I need to apply both products?
A: For maximum protection, yes. Oxilixo converts and stabilises existing rust, while LanoBlack provides a flexible, moisture-resistant protective coating that seals the surface against future corrosion.
